Silverside: Glitch: Piezo: Yulquen:
- The airport code for the Montreal-Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport is YUL. The Queen Elizabeth Hotel in Montreal is therefore referred to in some computer travel systems by the codename "YUL QUEN" or "YULQUEN". "Montreal" was the title of the second track on this album.
- The LISP programming language returns "NIL" for undefined. The LISP language is used in artificial intelligence research. The previous album, Incunabula, was a member of Warp Records' Artificial Intelligence series.
- Like wind in Windwind, tear has two different pronunciations (tier and tare)
- Also like Windwind, may be an instance of reduplication.
